Bunny Berries
Bunny berries are a cold fertilizer that you can apply to the soil right out of the bag without fear of burning your plants. There is no composting required and it is immediately safe for plants, gardens, and worms. Spread it around your garden, scoop it onto your raised beds, sprinkle in the ground before planting new plants, or steep it in water to make a nutrient-rich “rabbit composite tea”. These amazingly simple little berries also help to keep your wild bunny neighbors at bay without harming them or your plants. A little bit of this fertilizer goes a long way, too.
And the best part? It doesn’t stink like other natural fertilizers do!
HOW MUCH:
To ensure that your garden stays healthy, it’s important to spread the droppings evenly throughout the soil, and to use them in the correct quantities. Using the rabbit pellets prompts the nitrogen is being released slowly, which is good. Excess amounts may cause nutrient overload, making it difficult for your plants to absorb the nutrients they need. You don’t want to overdo it since excess nitrogen can encourage the plant’s leaves to grow rather than the fruit of the plant.
You can start adding the manure to your crops once a week or once every two to three weeks depending on what you're growing and how often you'd typically add traditional fertilizer to the soil.

A good rule of thumb is to apply 2-4 pounds for every 10 square feet of garden space.
METHODS:
Top-Dressing
To top-dress a plant, spread no more than a ½ to 1-inch layer of bunny berries around the plant. Make sure the poop pellets do not directly touch the plants.
Container Gardening
You can add bunny berries to potting soil to improve its drainage and fertility. Each pot will need no more than 1-2 handfuls of berries. Combine the pellets and the soil before planting.
Giving Transplants a Boost
While digging a hole for a transplant, add in some bunny berries to enrich the soil and create ideal growing conditions for the plant. The berries will give roots an immediate dose of fertilizer to start working with.
