History of
Polar & Nordy
We adopted brothers, Polar and Nordy, in the summer of 2021 from One Tail at a Time. Their litter was rescued from a hotel and many of their siblings were also for adoption at the time. Instead of buying a rabbit from a pet store, I highly recommend adopting one since so many buns are looking for their forever home. One of the other benefits of adopting is they often come litter box trained and neutered/spayed.
Rabbits are not “low-maintenance” pets — they need as much care and attention as dogs and cats. It can also take longer to bond with them since they are prey animals and can be more fearful.
According to an ASPCA study, rabbits are more expensive to own than cats or guinea pigs — coming just after dogs in expense.
